What Time Does Chipotle Close? Typical Hours and How to Check

Many Chipotle locations close at 10 or 11 p.m., but there is no universal closing time. See verified examples and how to check your restaurant tonight.

Chipotle does not have one nationwide closing time. Many locations in the official pages we checked close at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m., but hours vary by restaurant and day: some close earlier, while selected locations stay open until midnight. For the accurate time tonight, enter your city, state, or ZIP code in Chipotle’s official locator, open the specific restaurant, and read its Restaurant Hours. Check again on holidays or special-event days.

The 10:00–11:00 p.m. range is a useful starting point, not a promise about every Chipotle. A downtown restaurant, a freestanding suburban location, and a food-court counter can follow very different schedules. Hours are shown in the restaurant’s local time.

Closing times shown on official Chipotle pages

We checked eight official U.S. location pages on August 21, 2026. This is a transparent sample, not a nationwide census.

Examples of restaurant hours published by Chipotle on August 21, 2026
Restaurant Closing time shown What the example demonstrates
117 E 14th St, New York 11:00 p.m. daily An 11 p.m. schedule
101 Summer St, Boston 10:00 p.m. daily A 10 p.m. schedule
311 S Wacker Dr, Chicago 8:00 p.m. weekdays; 5:00 p.m. weekends A substantially earlier schedule
891 S Miami Ave, Miami 12:00 a.m. daily A location open until midnight
5015 Westheimer Rd, Houston 8:00 p.m. Monday–Saturday; 6:00 p.m. Sunday Hours that change by day
371 E Alameda Ave, Denver 10:00 p.m. daily A 10 p.m. schedule
1515 N 7th Ave, Phoenix 11:00 p.m. daily An 11 p.m. schedule
2921 Los Feliz Blvd, Los Angeles 10:00 p.m. daily A 10 p.m. schedule

These examples support saying that many locations in the sample close at 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. They do not support claiming that either hour is the nationwide majority. The Chicago, Houston, and Miami examples show why one universal answer would be misleading.

How to find the exact closing time for your Chipotle

  1. Open Chipotle’s official restaurant locator.
  2. Enter a city, state, ZIP code, or street address. You may also allow location access if you choose.
  3. Confirm the street address. Search results can contain several restaurants in the same city, and similarly named businesses are not necessarily Chipotle Mexican Grill.
  4. Open the restaurant and read the Restaurant Hours for the correct day.
  5. If the visit is important or the date is a holiday or special event, check the page again shortly before leaving. The official U.S. location directory is a second way to navigate by state and city.

A search-engine snippet can be useful, but it may be stale or may describe a different business. The restaurant’s official page, matched to the correct address, is the safer source for tonight’s schedule.

Why can one Chipotle close earlier than another?

Chipotle publishes hours at the location level rather than promising one chainwide closing time. The official pages show that schedules can differ by address and day. A restaurant inside an office complex, shopping center, airport, or food court may also operate around its venue’s access and staffing schedule, while another location may serve customers later.

Temporary changes and holidays can make a normally accurate weekly schedule wrong for a particular date. We did not find a current official nationwide holiday-hours table, so this article does not invent one. Check the exact location for the exact date.

Do pickup and delivery stop at the restaurant’s closing time?

The sampled location pages describe pickup as available during store hours, but a delivery service can show its own available time slots, capacity, or cutoff. Do not assume that seeing an 11:00 p.m. restaurant close guarantees that every ordering option will accept an order until 11:00. Select the restaurant and fulfillment method in the official ordering flow to see what is actually available.

Catering is a separate ordering process and should not be treated as the restaurant’s walk-in closing time. This page therefore answers the restaurant-hours question without publishing an unsupported universal delivery or catering deadline.

What about Sunday, holidays, or “near me” searches?

Those variations belong on this same page because they express the same intent: finding the closing time of the relevant restaurant. Sunday can match the other days or end earlier, as the Houston example shows. Holiday and temporary hours may change. “Near me” requires a location, so use the official locator rather than relying on a generic national answer.

The useful rule of thumb

Start with 10:00 or 11:00 p.m. as a common range among the official pages sampled here, then verify the exact address and day. If the restaurant is in a mall, food court, office complex, or another venue with restricted access, expect a greater chance of an earlier close. A page that supplies one time without identifying the restaurant is giving an estimate, not the final answer.
